About us

Stern Tech is an innovative deep-tech startup that has been working since 2019 on understanding human behavior.

Our real-time behavioral analysis is based on the combination of AI and Cognitive Sciences (psychology, neuroscience, sociology, linguistics). Our ambition is to give a heart to inanimate objects, enabling them to understand human needs. In short, we could describe our technology as “empathetic AI.”

Our first product, unique in the world, is focused on the automotive sector: it analyzes driver behavior in real-time with the aim of providing assistance in case of a health issue while driving. For example, in the event of a heart alert, equipped cars could park themselves and call for emergency assistance. To achieve this, we are working closely with the Borelli Center (CNRS x ENS Paris-Saclay), the global leader in the mathematical modeling of neuroscientific concepts, in partnership with Renault and Stellantis, to bring our technology to all standard vehicles.

We also offer other products for education, marketing, media metrics, and even conferences; these products can be directly integrated into videoconferencing tools or proprietary platforms. We provide real-time feedback to presenters, informing them about the audience’s levels of concentration, stress, and fatigue (grouped by age and gender). After the meeting, we send a detailed report with precise metrics showing the impact of the session: which phrase convinced which group, and which statement may have offended another group.

Our products can function without the internet, to better respect privacy, are sovereign (100% French), comply with the EU AI Act, and are sold for just a few euros, because everyone deserves to be protected.
